Are YOU a carer?

Are you looking after someone who:

bulletis physically disabled
bullethas learning disabilities
bulletis elderly?
bullethas mental health problems?
bullethas a terminal illness?

If so, you are A CARER

"You're a carer if your life is in any way restricted by the need to provide care at home for someone who can't manage without your help. And the reason they can't manage might be old age, disability, some kind of mental or physical ill health. But the key thing is you are absolutely necessary to their ability to cope at home. That might mean that you're doing it for a short time, a few hours a week only. Or it might mean, and it does mean this for many carers, that you're caring seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day, for ten, fifteen, twenty years".
